Challenge
TEC (Touristic Enterprises Company) wanted to provide the people of Kuwait with a Winter Wonderland Experience throughout December 2022 to April 2023 in a newly prepared site at Al Shaab Park, Salmiya.
The Events By Cynosure team met representatives from TEC to discuss their requirements. These involved providing 22 attractions on lease and ensuring all matters relating to operations and maintenance were included.
Solution:
Events By Cynosure sourced and contracted all rides, staff and maintenance for the project. We engaged a shipping company that could deliver these rides to Kuwait on time, within a short timeframe.
The team met frequently in person and online to progress the project. We worked hard with all parties to source equipment and provide the client with any information they required as quickly as possible.
Over a three-month period, the team dealt with shipping companies, equipment suppliers, insurers and health and safety personnel, as well as making travel and accommodation arrangements for the large number of team members on site, including build staff, operation staff and maintenance staff and management.
The team managed the loading of all equipment in Southampton, and were on hand at the Kuwait Port three weeks later to take delivery. TEC and Events By Cynosure worked closely to ensure a safe and successful unloading. All rides and equipment were delivered safely to site ready for the installation.
Result:
The installation began mid-November and was completed on 11th December.
